Matt Campbell and Iowa State decided that Saturday would not be good enough to hold their annual Spring Game and they will not make it up. Campbell says he feels for the fans, and looks forward to kicking the season off on September 1st.

Lanning is Mr. Versatile and Lazard Impresses at Iowa State Pro Day
On Tuesday, a handful of former Cyclones hit the field trying to impress NFL Scouts and make a case to be playing on Sunday. For Joel Lanning, one team might consider another position move, while most are seeing him at linebacker. As for Allen Lazard, he cleaned up some routes, and showed off his pass-catching ability. Cyclones close tough season, look ahead to bright future
With Iowa State's 68-64 loss to Texas, the Cyclones finished the season 13-18. Not where Steve Prohm wanted by any means. But it was a rebuilding year for the Cyclones, and mix in injuries, and things did not go according to plan. Iowa State Cyclones fall on Senior Night to Oklahoma State
In the farewell to the trio of Cyclone seniors, Iowa State just didn't have enough to over-take the Oklahoma State Cowboys. OSU bests ISU 80-71. Lindell Wigginton finished with a team high 20 points. Iowa State Cyclones fall to Texas Tech on the road in men's basketball
The Iowa State Cyclones competed with Texas Tech for about 35 minutes Wednesday night before watching the Red Raiders pull away late to win 76-58. Without Nick Weiler-Babb and Hans Brase, the Cyclones lacked depth and it hurt them as foul trouble became a problem. Cam Lard finished with a career-high 22-points before fouling out in the second half. TTU went on a 27-11 run in the final 12 minutes and 20 seconds to run away with this one.

Iowa and Iowa State Ink 2018 Recruiting Classes
The big news on National Signing Day for Iowa State was landing Gilbert, Arizona, QB Brock Purdy. Purdy had offers from Alabama and Texas A&M. Iowa State in total, signed 21 players in their 2018 class. Iowa signed 22, including five defensive backs. The impact Josh Jackson and Desmond King have had is clear, young db's are taking notice of what the Hawkeyes are doing.

TCU Horned Frogs cruise by the Iowa State Cyclones 96-73 Wednesday night
The Iowa State Cyclones never led Wednesday at TCU. The Horned Frogs hit twelve three-pointers and ran Steve Prohm's squad right out of the gym, 96-73. Iowa State got the lead down to eight in the second half only to see a barrage of threes from TCU fall and ultimately lead to the runaway win. Donovan Jackson led the Cyclones with 19 points.
