Boy Reported Missing in Nevada

Thursday Morning Update:  Nevada Police say 12-year-old Sebastian Akers is still missing. Police have confirmed that he was seen Wednesday morning in Boone, Iowa, traveling with Zachary Hollenbeck, an 18-year-old male, approximately 5’ 11”, 155 lbs and a shaved head . Zachary was last seen wearing purple shorts and a yellow t-shirt.

 

NEVADA, Iowa - The Nevada Public Safety Department is investigating a report of a missing 12-year-old boy.

Sebastian Akers was last seen at the Kum & Go, located at 731 Lincoln Highway, shortly after 1:00 am Wednesday morning. He was wearing a gray t-shirt with a Iowa Hawkeye logo on front, jeans and black DC skate shoes.

If anyone from the public has seen Sebastian or has contact with him they are asked to contact Story County Dispatch at (515) 382-4305.
