Altoona police arrested a Kellogg man after he lead them on a high speed chase Friday morning. The 12 mile chase started when officers tried to pull Hank Benson, 27, over following a crash.

Sgt. David Tinker with Altoona police told Local 5 reporter Chris Oswalt Benson was spotted in a residential area around 3:30 a.m. That is when Benson took off.

"He started heading westbound, but turned around," Sgt. Tinker said. "He turned around in the middle of the interstate".

The chase ended when Benson, who did not have a license, crashed at the Colfax exit. Benson faces a long list of charges
