UPDATE: Motorcyclist ID'd from Friday night crash

The crash happened late Friday night



ANKENY- Police have now identified the driver of the motorcycle. It is Rueben Ignacio Enriquez, 56, of Ankeny. He was rushed to the hospital after the crash, but did not survive.

DES MOINES – A Bondurant man is now facing OWI charges after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash late Friday night.


Around 10:30 p.m. Friday, Polk County deputies were called to investigate a motorcycle and car collision in the 7200 block of NE 14th Street.


Authorities say Taylor Ray Linse, 26, of Bondurant was driving the car that struck the motorcyclist.  Ankeny fire medics rushed the motorcyclist to Mercy Hospital, but he did not survive.


Linse is facing a number of charges including operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, vehicular homicide, driving with a revoked license and probation violation.


The name of the motorcyclist has not yet been released. The sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate the crash.
