Grassley front and center at SCOTUS hearings

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) will be front and center at today's confirmation hearing for the next possible justice on the Supreme Court.

Judge Niel Gorsuch was nominated by President Trump more than a month ago to fill the late Justice Antonin Scalia's seat. Scalia died in February 2016.

Grassley is the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee; that group oversees the confirmation process of Supreme Court justice nominees. The hearings are set to begin today on Capitol Hill.
