Iowa agriculture dean finalist for president job

AMES- Iowa State has announced its fourth finalist for the university's presidential search. 

Wendy Wintersteen, Ph.D., dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State  University, will be on campus Thursday to meet with faculty, staff, students and  community members. Wintersteen’s curriculum vitae and full interview schedule are available  on the ISU presidential search website.

Wintersteen will participate in a public forum Thursday from 4-5 p.m. in the Durham Great Hall of the Memorial Union. 

The other three candidates being considered include: 

-Sonny Ramaswamy, director of the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (Washington, D.C.)

-Pamela Whitten, senior vice president of academic affairs at University of Georgia (Athens)

-Dale Whittaker, executive vice president at the University of Central Florida (Orlando)
