Meeting with Asian and Latino voters

DES MOINES- A handful of democratic candidates running for state and federal offices reached out to the metro's Latino and Asian voters.

Six candidates spoke as special guests to the crowded room at the Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 33 building .
Among them, former Lieutenant Governor Patty Judge who is running against Senator Chuck Grassley. 
Right now, Grassley leads  by 8 percent.
but Judge was looking to change those numbers by sharing her stance on the minimum wage, fixing infrastructure, social security and education.
 
Judge told the crowd, "we're at one of those places right now where it is not working real well for everybody and we can do better we have to do better and we have issues that need attention and they're not hard to figure out a solution."
 
Us House Candidate Jim Mowrer also spoke. He's running against republican incumbent David Young in Iowa's 3rd District.
