IOWA CITY - It's a big day for Iowa football fans as Kinnick Stadium is getting a make-over.
A $90 million renovation was approved Thursday for the north end zone project. Enhancements will include a second deck for seating, new bathrooms, improved concessions, new box seats, and a new video board.
The three-year project starts next season, and Iowa Athletic Director Gary Barta said it's all about making it better for the fans.
The last time the north end zone was upgraded was 1986. The project is set to be completed in 2019.
