Lawsuit continues for landowners vs. DAPL

Iowa Supreme Court denies Dakota Access dismissal

The Iowa Supreme Court is siding with landowners in the lawsuir against the Dakota Access pipeline.

Dakota Access requested the lawsuit to be dismissed and the courts are rejecting that dismissal. Now the case will move forward and a trial will likely start at the end of this year or early next year.

Anti-pipeliner, Ed Fallon, said "To those who say, 'the fight against the Dakota Access pipeline is over, so just move on,' we pipeline fighters and water protectors say, 'Not so fast!'"
