DES MOINES - Police say 49-year-old Angela Eubanks of Waukee was found dead in the back of a minivan at Broadlawns Medical Center Thursday morning.

Broadlawns staff and police both said the van had been parked in the South parking lot for at least two days. But an incident report is revealing more details into what police saw when they arrived to the scene.

Police responded to the parking lot around 8:00 a.m. Thursday, after a Broadlawns employee noticed something suspicious about a parked van there. According to the incident report, police noticed a strong, foul order coming from the van. When they opened the back door, they noticed that the woman's body appeared to be decomposing.

The report also confirms the van did belong to Eubanks. The autopsy that was done Friday morning found no evidence of traumatic injury to the body. And police also tell Local 5 there seemed to be no evidence of suspicious activity at the scene.

Toxicology tests are still being done. Police say the results of those tests will not be available for several days - or even for several weeks.

Police also say it is too early to rule out foul play. Stay with Local 5 for the latest on this investigation.
