In an unusual move - protesters will be picketing outside the home of an Iowa senator.
Republican Senator Bill Dix is from Shell Rock. Protesters from an Iowa labor union say they'll be marching outside of his home. The reason they'll be doing that is because union members say Senator Dix led the attack against Iowa families last session and is part of the reason Iowan's have to foot the bill for a 1.75 million dollar sexual harassment lawsuit settlement.
Dix was at the center of controversy during the trial of a woman who claims she was sexually harassed while working at the capitol and that nothing was done after she complained to Senator Dix
Regarding the controversy Dix said, "The most important thing is to recognize that everybody needs to be respectful and conduct themself in a professional manner that we all expect in a workplace environment."
