Three Cases Of Voter Fraud Discovered In Polk County

DES MOINES - Police are following up on a few cases of voter fraud in Polk County from the last month.

According to police reports, one person has been charged with election misconduct. All three cases involved the individuals trying to vote twice by sending absentee ballots into more than one location, including satellite voting places.

The Polk County Auditor, Jamie Fitzgerald, said the voter fraud cases show that the security system in place  to catch the voting irregularity are working.
