Three Charged In Theft Of Lottery Ticket

STORM LAKE - Three people are in jail in connection with a theft or attempted theft of a lottery scratch ticket.

The Iowa Department of Public Safety reported today that Ashley Bosler, Johnny Long Jr., and Sally Bosler were all arrested and booked in the Buena Vista County jail on Wednesday.

Ashley Bosler is charged with theft of lottery ticket and aiding and abetting theft of a lottery ticket. Long is also charged with theft of a lottery ticket, and Sally Bosler is charged with aiding and abetting.

The winning ticket in one of the Iowa lottery's instant-scratch games was presented at the Regional Lottery Office in Storm Lake last month, but the $250,000 prize has not been paid.

The Sioux Rapids Police department worked in this investigation as well.
