Tornadoes touch down in Carroll County

CARROLL CO. - A tornado reportedly caused damage to buildings and knocked down trees in Carroll County Wednesday evening.
According to a report to the National Weather Service, a tornado touched just southwest of Carroll around 8 pm. There were also reports of a tornado two miles southeast of Carroll where the roof and doors of a machine shed were blown off.
As of Thursday morning, the National Weather Service had not planned on surveying the damage.
Wind gusts in excess of 60 mph were also reported in Greene and Boone Counties between 8:30 and 9:30 pm.
No injuries were reported.
