In order to meet the needs of new clients, United needs to triple its Iowa workforce. A job fair this week will give them the employment boost for positions in Polk County.
Katie Bonner of United Healthcare understands the overwhelming task of taking on so many new members and hiring hundreds of more people in a short amount of time. She said, "We are fellow Iowans, we want to make this goes right for our neighbors. We want Iowans to be healthier and live healthier lives."
The job fair is on Wednesday November 15th from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm at the Tuscany Event Center in Urbandale.
United will hire about 400 new employees statewide.
