AMES - After beating TCU over the weekend and getting a number 14 ranking on the coach's AP poll, the Iowa State University football program is riding high. But will the man who helped get them here stay?
Head coach Matt Campbell was posed the question a few weeks ago, and rumors continue after ISU's momentum over the weekend. He wasn't asked the question on Monday during his press conference. Instead, he focused on how the team got here.
"We came in and we presented a vision," said Campbell. "And I think one of the nicest things about starting to have success is that part of that vision is because at least in reality, we're talking Iowa State football. What this can mean and where we're going. When you're able to put reality to a vision then I think it really helps in terms of who you are."
Campbell has helped beat expectations all season. The Cyclones take on West Virginia on the road this weekend.
