#1: Carlos Hernandez, who's on trial for the triple murder in Perry, is in court today. The jury is expected to debate their verdict this morning. That's taking place in Dallas county.

#2: Also in court this morning, the woman accused of stabbing a metro deacon in church last month.

#3: A therapy dog from Adel went missing last week, and this morning we have some bad news to inform our viewers. Tango was found over the weekend dead in a nearby creek, according to the dog's owner. She wants to thank everyone for helping search for Tango.

#4: Two big losses over the weekend. One was Saturday night up in Milwaukee. The Iowa State Cyclones men's basketball team took on the Purdue Boilermakers. Unfortunately, after what seemed like a comeback that could win it, the clones lost. Now the Boilermakers move on to the NCAA Tournament's Sweet Sixteen round to take on Kansas.

The other disappointing loss coming from the other side of the state. The Iowa Hawkeyes playing their first and second NIT round games at home in Iowa City. In the second round the Hawks took on the TCU Horned Frogs. After going into overtime, the Hawks lost. The Horned Frogs now move on to play Richmond.

#5: A big vote tonight from both the Des Moines and West Des Moines city council meetings could decide the fate of Des Moines Water Works. That's after a bill is already in the works at the statehouse that would ultimately end the company.
