Cyclones Run Out of Gas at KU, Fall 83-78

Iowa State Drops to 0-4 in Big 12 Play after Loss to Kansas

The Iowa State Cyclones looked like a team with new life on the road at Kansas, even in their 83 to 78 loss. Maybe it has to do with less pressure on them on the road, or they had 10 guys dress for the game. Either way, the Cyclones kept up with KU up until the final few minutes. It was a gutsy effort from the team, and Lindell Wigginton really rose to the occasion, tying for a game high 27 points. Weiler-Babb logged a double-double, 13 pts and 10 reb. But the Cyclones are still in search of their first Big 12 win of the season after falling at Kansas.
