Today is going to be a rainy day especially during the first half. Storms will be moving in from the west during the morning with some heavy rains and gusty winds. We should dry out a bit through the early afternoon but a few more scattered late afternoon thundershowers are possible. Even with the cloud cover and rain highs this afternoon should be able to reach the mid 70s. Overnight we'll have cloudy skies and scattered showers and thundershowers. Thursday looks to be a cloudy day with scattered thundershowers especially in the afternoon with some heating. Highs Thursdaywill be in the upper 70s and it will be a bit humid. We may see a bit of heavier rain Thursday night especially towards southern Iowa. Friday may have a few morning showers, and Saturday looks wettest overnight. Temps will stay seasonable in the upper 70s through the weekend, but next week will turn hot with mid to upper 80s possible.
