Today we are going to become mostly cloudy throughout the afternoon and we bring the chances for rain back into the forecast. We are going to start the morning off warm and dry, but as we head into the afternoon scattered thunderstorms will move in from the west. We will probably wait until after 5 or 6pm before we see any rain and storms here in the metro, and they are likely to be non severe. Overnight tonight we'll see scattered rain and thundershowers move through with areas of heavy rain possible. Friday looks to be a pretty wet day again with scattered showers throughout the morning but especially in the afternoon. Highs will be in the low 80s today and lows this evening will fall into the mid 60s. We slip back into the 70s through the weekend but next week is looking pretty hot again. The weekend should be dry and the start of next week is still looking dry.
