With so many clouds around today our temperatures stayed pretty cool, but we did manage to stay dry. That will likely change in the next few days as our chances for rain will be going up. Tonight will be mostly cloudy, but mainly dry here with only a few isolated showers possible for mainly western Iowa. We will likely have some scattered T-showers around the Metro Wednesday morning. We should be drier in the afternoon with some redevelopment possible in the afternoon. Some of the storms in the afternoon/evening could be strong for especially SW Iowa. Temperatures the next several days will be close to 80 depending on how much afternoon sunshine or rain we have. Thursday is looking like another good chance for some rain throughout the day with scattered showers and storms around central and southern Iowa. Saturday should start out dry, but there will be a chance for some storms Saturday night into early Sunday morning. Have a great night everyone! --Local 5 Chief Meteorologist Brad Edwards
