Nora J.S. Reichardt joined Local 5 News in July 2021.
Originally a Minnesotan, her first appearance on TV came when she was six years old. When asked about her favorite part of the Minnesota State Fair, Nora happily informed a reporter that she loved the "megaly-huge Bomb Pops" and ended up on the evening news.
After working on her high school newspaper and yearbook, Nora saw an opportunity to make a career out of her love of storytelling, so she moved to Des Moines to attend Drake University. She graduated in 2021 with degrees in news and sociology, as well as a concentration in leadership development.
When she isn't chasing the news of the day, Nora can usually be found reading at a coffee shop, playing video games, or spending too much time on Twitter.
