The Johnston Farmers' Market kicks off at 5 p.m. at the Johnston Town Center. It runs every Tuesday from now through September. It features live music alongside area vendors.

Beaverdale Farmers' Market

Meanwhile, the Beaverdale Farmers' Market returns for its 12th season on Tuesday.

Jane Gasperi, the market manager, says 34 vendors will be there, with fresh produce and baked goods. There's also live entertainment.

"A fourth of our vendors are new this year," Gasperi said. "And that's pretty typical, you know, to get get about a quarter of your vendors to come in. That's always exciting to see our new people."

If you can't make it to the first Beaverdale Farmers' Market, no problem.

It runs every Tuesday until September 12, from 4:00-7:00pm.

Organizers say there is some street construction on 48th Street nearby, but there will be plenty of signs to point you in the right direction.
