Meet the 10 year-old twins who are CEOs of their own business

10 year-old sisters Abby and Gabby George hope to share one message with central Iowans: entrepreneurs come in many shapes and sizes.

DES MOINES, Iowa — Abby and Gabby George are the CEOs of The Abbagabb Experience, a local business that sells scrunchies, bonnets, t-shirts and more.

"We hand make items like merchandise for girls, so they know no matter what they look like, no matter how they feel, they can be a boss," Abby said.

The pair won the young CEO award, awarded to them by the Sista Soul Fest for being a leader for other young ladies in their community. It's a role that influences their product.

"We want girls to feel inspired so you can and you will so when that happens," Gabby said.

The twins said they can't be the only ones their age to run a business, encouraging others not to let age hold them back.

"You can be a CEO, even if you're just a little kid or a baby, you can still be a CEO," Abby said.

The girls hope to see other young people try their hand at being a CEO of their own business.

"We need more people and little entrepreneur to come together in our community and be nice to each other and try to work hard," Gabby said.
