BUCHANAN COUNTY – Local 5 has obtained the 911 phone call from Chris Soules the night he allegedly hit and killed Kenneth Mosher in rural Buchanan County. He made the 911 call, and stayed with Mosher in the ditch.
Below is the transcript from that 911 call. BCD stands for Buchanan County Dispatch, and CS is Chris Soules.
BCD: He doesn’t look like he’s breathing?
BCD: Is the tractor on him?
BCD: Mister (CHRIS??), will you start CPR?*****
(heavy breathing and distraught for :15)
Chris, do you know how to do CPR?
CS: No, I don’t. (3:17)
15 SECONDS LATER… SOULES THEN FINDS SOME OTHER PEOPLE AT THE SCENE.

BCD: Does anyone there know how to do CPR?
CS: Do you know how to do CPR?
BCD: I can talk you through it, if you’re near the patient.
[SOUNDS LIKE SOMEONE IS DOING CPR]
SOMEONE AT THE SCENE STARTS CPR… AND THEN…
CS: There’s blood.
BCD: There’s blood coming out of his mouth?
CS: Yes. I feel like I feel a pulse. Yeah, he’s got a pulse.
BCD: Ok. Check to see if he’s breathing.
CS: You guys are on your way?
BCD: Yes, I’m gonna stay on the line with you. We have law enforcement, medical en route too (5:00)

CS: Ok. Hey. can I call you back really quick?
BCD: Yes. You can call me back.
