DES MOINES, Iowa — The Des Moines Police Department identified 34-year-old Des Moines resident Justin Lee Gilliland as the man found in the Des Moines River on Saturday.
Police say they got a call reporting a body found in the water near the Euclid Avenue bridge at 1:30 p.m. on June 26.
According to police, there was no evidence of traumatic injury and no indications of a criminal act as a contributing factor. The autopsy results are not finalized yet.
