Des Moines Public Library set to hold a summer reading challenge

Registration begins Monday, June 5.

DES MOINES, Iowa — Starting June 5, families can sign their children up to receive prizes in return for reading at Des Moines Public Library locations.

If your child is too young to start reading, no worries. There are three different age categories...from newborns up to 12th graders. Each has different goals and activities. 

Families will receive a free book, just by signing up.
