DES MOINES – If you wanted to find people from all around Central Iowa, all you had to do was head downtown.

The farmers’ market is back for what they hope will be another busy season.  Organizers expected nearly 40-thousand people to stop by for opening day. There was a lot of sunshine and activities to start off your Saturday.

People could soak up the sun and enjoy a little live music, while browsing for vegetables, fruits and other goodies.

The farmers’ market runs every Saturday until October from 7 a.m. until 12 p.m.
