Webster County Health Department preparing for mass COVID-19 vaccinations

The county's public health department is preparing a plan for when a vaccination is ready to go.

WEBSTER COUNTY, Iowa — The Webster County Public Health Department tested it's vaccine distribution plan Thursday to make sure they're prepared for a when a coronavirus vaccine is released. 

The department tested it by creating a drive-thru clinic and using flu shots. Their goal is to vaccinate as many people as possible in 72 hours.

Thursday's test was on a much smaller scale to allow them to experiment with resources.
