DES MOINES, Iowa — One of the largest LGBTQ events in Iowa has been postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Capital City Pride announced Thursday that its Pride Week and 42nd Annual Pride Fest celebration that is normally held in June is now being postponed to July 12th through the 19th.
According to the press release, the celebration is postponed in response to the coronavirus outbreak and the need for social distancing.
