DES MOINES — The Iowa Utilities Board (IUB) will allow Alliant Energy to increase electric rates for Iowa customers in the near future.
The decision was issued Wednesday.
Residential customers will see an increase from $11.50 to $13. Commercial customers will see an increase from $19 to $20.
There is no word on when the rates will increase.
