DES MOINES – 31-year-old Thein Aung just died in the hospital, two days after he was stabbed during a fight.
It happened in the 1000 block of 9th Street in Des Moines. Police were called around 10:15 p.m. on April 15th. Aung has stab wounds to his upper torso and was taken to the hospital, where he died on Wednesday.
This is the fifth homicide of the year in Des Moines, second in the last week.
At the time no criminal charges have been filed. More information will be released at a later time in this developing story.
