DES MOINES — An investigation has begun after police say a suspect robbed a bank Friday afternoon near downtown Des Moines.
The Des Moines Police Department says the suspect passed a note to a teller at the Community Choice Credit Union located at 700 Lyon Street demanding money, but did not display a weapon.
No injuries were reported, and the suspect was last seen running westbound, according to police.
The investigation is ongoing.
