LINN COUNTY, Iowa — Sergeant Jim Trainor with the Iowa State Patrol shared a look from his patrol car during the worst of Monday's storms.
According to a Facebook post, Sgt. Trainor stopped under a bridge just as the worst of the storm was rolling through Linn County.
Be aware that it is unsafe to take shelter under bridges and overpasses during severe weather.
These areas can act as wind tunnels and may be a target for flying debris.
