WAUKEE – Another celebrity is stepping up to the plate for Hillary Clinton.
Award-winning actress Jamie Lee Curtis visited a number of homes around the metro Sunday, starting at a house party in Waukee,
Curtis told the crowd she felt compelled to endorse Clinton after seeing her performance during the second Democratic presidential debate. She believes Clinton is by the far the strongest candidate in the field and has the credentials to get the job done.
“The president of the United States has to be someone who can make those decisions when life hinges, when something happens, with intelligence, compassion, real command, and I feel that she is the most competent in that area,” said Curtis.
Curtis is making several other visits for the Clinton campaign before the caucuses. She says at this point, she’s willing to do whatever’s necessary to help out.
