WAUKEE – A man is in the hospital Wednesday morning after he lost control and flipped his car on I-80.
According to Iowa State Patrol, the car flipped and rolled on top of the driver. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt. He was taken to a nearby hospital.
The crash caused a major traffic delay for the mid-morning commute. The scene has since been cleared up.
According to State Patrol, 196 drivers were assisted by troopers over a 12-hour time period during the snowstorm.
