MARSHALLTOWN – Corey Brown has been found dead after being missing for more than four days, according to Marshalltown Police.
Brown’s body was found in a secluded area on the west side of Marshalltown, according to law enforcement.
Marshalltown has been dealing with the aftermath of the EF-3 tornado, but Mayor Joel Greer said the death of Corey Brown will leave a lasting mark.
“Nobody died in the tornado, this is a death, so this hurts even worse. We can rebuild, we can fix things, but there is no way to get anyone back,” said Greer.
