AMES– Director of Athletics Jamie Pollard announced Sunday there will be a change in the head football coaching position at Iowa State University at the end of this season. Pollard informed Coach Paul Rhoads of this decision Sunday morning.
Rhoads will coach the Cyclones in their season finale at West Virginia this Saturday. Rhoads is ending his seventh season on the Iowa State sidelines.
He is 32-54 overall and 3-8 this year. Rhoads took Iowa State to three bowl games in seven years.
Both Pollard and Rhoads are set to make official statements Monday afternoon.
