DES MOINES- The Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence hosted the 1st Annual Des Moines “Wine, Women and Shoes” fundraiser. It was an event to raise money to prevent domestic violence in Iowa and support victims and survivors, and also raise awareness about domestic violence.
Local 5 is a proud media sponsor of the event, and Anchor Stephanie Angleson served as emcee. The night had a live auction, and fashion show as well as inspiring personal stories from victims of domestic abuse.
