Ankeny residents can resume lawn irrigation now that a water main leak has been repaired.
The leak forced the city into Stage 3 of its Water Conservation Plan Monday, which required a mandatory irrigation suspension.
The city is now back to Stage 1, which means the city will continue to reduce water usage at its facility and asks residents and businesses to follow an alternating watering schedule. The recommended schedule applies to all spray irrigation systems.
