Gobble up this great Thanksgiving forecast 🦃

Mild weather is expected for most of Iowa on Thanksgiving Day.

DES MOINES, Iowa — Are you gearing up for Thanksgiving?

For so many of us, Turkey Day will look a bit different this year, but in the weather department it will ook pretty normal!

The average highs for late November typically fall in the upper 40s, and is expected that most of Iowa will reach the upper 40s to low 50s on Thursday, under partly cloudy sky.

In fact, it may be the warmest day all week.

Of course, things can change with Thanksgiving still several days away, but it does look great at this point.

Compared to Thanksgiving Day over the last several years, this forecast is surprisingly similar. Over the last five years, the coldest Thanksgiving Day occurred in 2019, when the high temperature only hit 33° with a trace of snow.
