Heavy rain causes flash flooding

(NORTH CENTRAL IOWA) – Heavy rains created flash flooding across Iowa Sunday evening.

In Carroll, voluntary evacuations were put in place for the East Side Trailer Court. The Carroll Police Department tells Local 5 News that numerous roads were also under way because of high water.

South of Carroll, in Boone, heavy rain created minor flash flooding but no damage was reported.
