Hundreds of Iowans flocked to downtown Des Moines Saturday for the Iowa Latino Heritage Festival.
It all took place at Western Gateway Park.
Dozens of vendors lined the streets preparing and selling all kinds of authentic cuisine.
There were also plenty of performances for people to enjoy.
“Every tradition is beautiful and every person is connected together. It’s a great honor for us to be invited to this wonderful city here in Iowa.”
Iowa’s Latino Heritage Festival is the only two-day one of its kind in the state.
