Lice cases in Iowa up 40 percent

They’re ugly, gross and they spread quickly. 

Tiny bugs known as lice are running rampant, with as many as 40 to 50 patients a week coming in to Lice Clinics of America in Windsor Heights. 

“Kids are going to school with it,” said Kellie Hancock with Lice Clinics of America. “They are sharing it with their friends and then they are having a hard time getting rid of it themselves. It’s going crazy.”
