CHARITON – A new factory will be bringing more jobs into Chariton soon.
The Iowa Economic Development Authority approved a relocation project for Seats Incorporated. This company crafts seats for things like turf equipment and heavy duty trucks.
The plan is to move their metal fabrication process from Wisconsin to Chariton. That means there will be 64 new jobs in Iowa, and it could generate a little over $5 million in investments.
