Severe storms hammered the I-80 corridor through the metro Thursday night.
Lots of hail and lightning, plus some wind and heavy downpours, popped up in central Iowa. Many reports of 1-to-1.5″ hail in Des Moines and Marshall County.
And there were also some wind gusts of 60 mph that caused some damage in some locations.
Lightning caused several power outages including the Wells Fargo Arena where Kenny Chesney was performing.
There is still a chance for more showers and storms Friday morning, but likely not as severe.

More severe storms will be possible for mainly northern Iowa Friday and back in central Iowa Saturday afternoon and evening.
