UPDATE: Police locate 1 of 2 missing women out of Webster County

UPDATE: Law enforcement in Indiana safely located a missing woman out of Iowa Thursday.

MacKenzie Knigge of of Clare, Iowa was located in Lafayette, Indiana after missing since late last week. However, Jessica Gomez, a missing woman from Fort Dodge, has not been located yet. There is a heightened concern for the safety of Jessica Gomez of Fort Dodge, who was last seen in Fort Dodge on August 4.

Gomez’s vehicle, a 2008 black Toyota Yaris, was located west of the intersection of Fairbanks Avenue and 150th Street in Webster County.

Anyone with recent information about Gomez or her vehicle is asked to immediately contact law enforcement. Anyone with any information related to Gomez whereabouts is asked to call the Webster County Law Center at 515-573-1410. WEBSTER COUNTY- Law enforcement in Webster County are jointly looking for two missing persons that were last seen late last week.

The Webster County Sheriff’s Office, Ft. Dodge Police Department, and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation are looking for information on the whereabouts of Jessica Lyne Gomez, also known as Jessica Ebner, and Mackenzie Lee Knigge. Gomez is from Ft. Dodge and Knigge resided in Clare. The last contact with Gomez occurred sometime during the evening of August 4; Knigge was last seen during the evening of August 5

Gomez is a 26-year-old white female with blue eyes. She is 5’4” tall and weighs approximately 195 pounds. Knigge is also a 26-year-old white female with blue eyes. She is 5’6” tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. 

A vehicle associated with this case is a 2006 silver Pontiac Montana with Indiana license plate 193 ETI.  


Anyone with any information related to Gomez and Knigge whereabouts, or the silver Pontiac Montana, is asked to call the Webster County Sheriff’s Office at 515-573-1410.
