There’s a lot to like about the Easter Weekend forecast!
Today has been gorgeous with tons of sunshine and high temperatures in the 60s. It has been a bit breezy, but it doesn’t get much better than this for a Friday in April.
Tonight will be calm, clear and cool with overnight lows in the upper 30s and low 40s. Frost isn’t out of the question east of the metro. Protect any sensitive plants that you’ve already put outdoors!
Easter weekend looks great with plenty of sun and warm weather. Saturday will be completely sunny with highs in the mid-70s. Sunday will likely be warmer with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s under partly cloudy skies. A cold front with move through Iowa Sunday night and should spark some showers and thunderstorms. Severe weather is not expected. Most of this will likely move in after 10 p.m. Sunday night.
For the most part, next week looks dry and very comfortable! There will be a slight chance for rain on Monday and Tuesday, then again late in the week. Highs should be in the 60s Monday through Wednesday before climbing back to the 70s by Thursday.
