It didn’t take long to find out, but Iowa native Maddie Poppe has advanced to the Top 10 on ABC’s “American Idol”.
Poppe was the first artist called to the stage, where host Ryan Seacrest told the 20-year-old Clarksville native that America voted her into the Top 10.
Poppe celebrated by singing “Walk Like An Egyptian” by The Bangles.
During Sunday night’s Top 14 show, Poppe sang Simon & Garfunkel’s “Homeward Bound”.
The Top 10 will sing Sunday night at 7 p.m. on Local 5.
