Maddie Poppe performs one last time for America’s vote

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Iowa native Maddie Poppe had one last chance to impress America during Sunday night’s part one finale of ‘American Idol’—and she did not disappoint.

Singing three songs—”Going Going Gone” (new single), “Don’t Ever Let Your Children Grow Up” (Maddie Poppe original) and “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac—Poppe took the stage for the last time before America decides who will win ‘American Idol’.

Caleb Lee Hutchinson performed his new single, “Johnny Cash Heart”, as well as “Folsom Prison Blues” by Johnny Cash and “Don’t Close Your Eyes” by Keith Whitley.

Gabby Barrett sang “Rivers Deep” (new single), “Don’t Stop Believin'” by Journey and “Little Red Wagon” by Miranda Lambert.

There are three ways to vote for your favorite artist: Via the American Idol app, online and by texting 14 (Gabby), 10 (Maddie) or 1 (Caleb) to “21523”. Fans can vote 10 times on each method, for a total of 30 votes. Voting closes at 8 a.m. CT on Monday.

All three finalists will sing Monday night after voting closes, with special guests such as the ‘American Idol’ judges (Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie), Nick Jonas, Bebe Rexha, Yolanda Adams and more.

The ‘American Idol’ finale airs Monday at 8 p.m. on Local 5.
